Making Pure Corn Whiskey
The author speaks with authority on every phase of the production of pure corn whiskey, but also supplements that information with other types of whiskey, including mash recipes, tips, and tricks. He recommends flaked maize because you don't have to heat it past 150 degrees for any length of time. He recommends a column reflux still for the greatest control. He recommends and describes building a distiller from an electric 6 or 12 gallon water heater. This is a book I return to whenever I have a question.
